Think changing seasons, cherry blossoms, bird nests, warm breezes, the first sail, being outdoors, gardens, graduations and everything
that spring excites in the soul.

The exhibit will be on view from May 6 to June 15 We have room for 50 framed paintings (two per artist), with a maximum frame width of 36 inches. There are also bins available for three unframed works per person, either giclée or original, matted, backed and enclosed in plastic sleeves.

The Wimsey Cove commission is 25%. If you wish to have your paintings for this exhibit framed by the expert Wimsey Cove staff, they’re offering us a special 50% discount. Your AWC dues must be current to enter. See below for Show Standards.

For each of your entries for all AWC exhibits, please attach a label to the back giving title, medium, price, and your name, address, phone number, email (and website if you have one).

In order to publicize this event, we will include a digital image of one of the paintings in our email announcement. If you would like your painting to be considered, please forward a .jpeg image to stacyjoy21117@gmail.com.

Also, out of fairness and respect for the venues that permit us to exhibit in their gallery or place of business, if you should sell a painting as a result of someone seeing it at that exhibit, please charge the same amount and give that venue the commission they would normally charge.

1. Eligibility
Unless the show is specified as “open,” only AWC members in good standing are eligible to submit entries to an AWC sponsored show.

2. General Requirements
a. Artwork Dimensions. The maximum frame size in any direction is 48”.
b. Frames/Cover. Frames must be well selected, well cut and of professional quality, with wire for hanging (no sawtooth hooks), with glass, acrylic or Plexiglas.  Art 24 x 30” or larger must have Plexiglas or acrylic for safety.
c. Identification. Artwork must be identified with artist’s name, title of painting, artist's contact information (phone number), and price.  If not for sale, include “NFS” or “Price upon Request”. This information should be placed on the rear lower left of the back of the artwork.

5. Waivers and Honor Statement:
Artists must agree to and sign the Waiver and Honor statement.
