Holiday Party 2019

Our traditional holiday party was held on December 11, 2019.   Room 308 was transformed with festive tables, centerpieces of fresh greens, an array of delicious food, gifts, and a roomful of members dressed in holiday red and green.

New this year, we collected many wrapped gifts for the children and adults who are living temporarily at the Lighthouse, the Annapolis Homeless Prevention Support Shelter.  These wonderful gifts will allow these folks to be creative and enjoy expressing themselves with paint, crayons, pastels — and help them forget their many challenges.

Thank you to the many volunteers who worked hard to make it happen!  Karen Elliott took on the daunting task of tracking the RSVP list to keep the number of attendees within the fire code limits for the room.  Mildred Anderson once again hosted a gathering to create the beautiful centerpieces on the day before.  Our hospitality team provided all of the food as well as set-up and clean-up.  The gift exchange was kept lively by Cheryl Duvall.  And Linda Luke, Connie Robinson, and Mike Shank arranged the collection and delivery of gifts to the Lighthouse,
