Critique of Members' Work with David Lawton

Following a long tradition of April Spring Fling, David Lawton will be returning to provide a critique of members' work at our April meeting.  Active members will be invited to submit images of their work ahead of time.  This is a great opportunity to learn from David's many years as an artist, teacher, and exhibit judge.  Through his thoughtful comments, we learn how to improve our compositions, draw in our viewers, and add life to our paintings.

To allow more time for the critique, there will be no salon this month.

Current members are encouraged to send photos of their artwork for critique. David Lawton will accept a maximum of (3) photo images from each participant; critiquing at least one, 2 or 3 if time permits.  You may submit photos from your I-Phone with the largest size image possible.  For those who are familiar with photographing their artwork they may send images as a jpg.  File size no larger than 3 meg (if possible), with file name being your first and last name plus number of each image sent.  Here is an example:  JaneSmith1 (if one image is sent), second image would be JaneSmith2 and so forth.  Your first image should be the one you want critiqued the most.

Images to be sent to davidlawton575@gmail.com

In the subject matter of email place the words "Spring Fling"

David Lawton will acknowledge receipt of your email.  If for some reason you do not receive a response, please contact Juanitagreen640@yahoo.com; who will notify David that a response has not been received.

DEADLINE:

All entries must be submitted no later than midnight, April 10th.
