May 2026 Members' Meeting

6:30 pm:  Salon

We welcome your in-process and completed paintings.  Please send in your recent artwork as jpeg files to both our PowerPoint Master, Shannon Kelly, at skelly823@gmail.com, no later than Sunday, May 10th. Please crop your photo appropriately.  Note TITLE and SIZE. Back story about painting to share is appreciated. You can include your inspiration or purpose for the painting, process, or anything else you would like to share, including questions for improvement or problem solving.

During salon, members are encouraged to type their critiques in chat, which will be recorded and emailed to the artists who participated in the Art Salon.

In a fast-paced and engaging session, Chris will attempt to complete two watercolor paintings within 90 minutes.

Chris is known for his energetic, loose painting style, working quickly to capture the essence of a subject rather than focusing on fine detail. 

A dedicated student of Charles Reid, Chris has devoted more than 60,000 hours to painting and art study since 2005. His work has been described as dynamic and masterful, earning him commissioned projects and exhibition opportunities, including gallery showings and corporate collections. In addition to his studio work, he is a committed educator, having created over 300 free instructional video demonstrations and recently publishing his book, Watercolor – Methods for Success.
