Exhibits

    AWC exhibits are temporary public displays of watercolor artwork created by AWC members, often organized around a theme. These exhibitions provide opportunities for the public to view, discuss, and purchase original artwork, and are held at venues throughout Anne Arundel County, Maryland. AWC Entry guidelines are provided here; however, all submissions are subject to the schedules and requirements of the exhibiting venues under contract, which take precedence over AWC exhibit rules. This page is updated regularly with calls for entries and exhibition information. Exhibit details may also be found on the Calendar page.

       Exhibit at One Petticoat Lane, Annapolis   

    Exhibit Dates:  April 9 - April 29, 2026

    Address: 2 Annapolis Street, Annapolis, MD

    One Petticoat Lane is an upscale boutique specializing in ladies apparel and eclectic home furnishings. The shop has a local clientele as well as attracting Annapolis visitors.

     There will be a reception on April 9th from 5 - 6 pm.

    Registration (AWC members only) Deadline for entries March 22 or when the maximum number of registrations has been reached.  Registration will open February 23.

    Entry fee for artists: $15.00

    Entry Limit of 1 entry per artist; there is room for 25 paintings

    Size Limit maximum of 24" x 18" -  including frame

    Labeling:  Information on the back of each painting should include Title, Medium, Price (or NFS), Artist, and Artist Contact Info (phone and/or email).  

     Sales:  There will be a 20% commission so pieces should be priced accordingly. One Petticoat Lane will collect the artist's price and the artist will be reimbursed after the show.


    Receiving April 9 from 11 am - noon
